It then reached Europe, and since the early to mid-1990s, it has been infused in mainstream pop and dance music worldwide.

House music is centered around a 'four on the floor' rhythmic structure and may feature a prominent synthesizer bassline, synthesized or sampled drums and percussion, electronic effects, vocal samples, often with reverb or delay effects."

One thing has to be mentioned.... House Music is created by the people, for the people.  Keep the Underground HOUSE MUSIC ALIVE!!!  KEEP IT REAL!!!

I was watching a video yesterday that actually made me think that we need a lot more of.  Block Parties in the hood.  It's where it all begins for everyone.  It's what got me into DJing.  Much respect to the man who made a turntable an instrument from BLOCK PARTIES.

First and foremost, I would like to say THANK YOU to all the people who have contacted me through email saying nothing but great things about this blog I have created. Some of you have even contacted me regarding my availability to DJ.....I will soon be posting an email regarding booking availability. I always keep wondering why the underground HOUSE sound has that mystique that mesmerises everyone that sets foot in a dance club.  Is it the sound system the club is equiped with?  Is it the art decore the establishment has?  What about the people who work in these places or manage them?  Is it simply the DJ?  Maybe the music?  Let's not forget the PROMOTERS:)  I think its a combination of all.  Without any of the above mentioned, the club with the underground HOUSE sound would simply be an empty place.

One thing is for certain.  No matter what club you go to, HOUSE MUSIC has always been at the forefront in music choice for DJ's.  You can be an excellent DJ or an amature DJ, as long as you have your Underground House Sound, you have excellent tools to make a great atmosphere of a club.

Back in the day...

Today, I would like to take this opportunity to give a special PEACE & RESPECT to the originators of HOUSE MUSIC. 

Over the past 30 years, this genre has been branched out so much that it has greatly lost its origins, in my opinion.  Whether it is for the better, the exploration of expanding new and solid sounds, this genre must all pay respects to the one person, I think, must never be forgotten. 

Yes, the place is CHICAGO.  Yes, its in the late 70's.  Who is this person?  None other than the true GOD FATHER of HOUSE MUSIC......

Welcome. 

This is a blog created for all the crazy house music lovers, Dj's, producers and anyone who has been touched by the creative sensation of making House Music since its humble beginings in the 80's.  I will touch on many subjects within the realm of this unique genre of music in this blog.  I will also give personnal opinions on many of the trax available.

At this moment I would like to thank GOD for making everything possible. My family with their undying support.  I would like to also thank my friends (if I list them all, I would list them forever.  You know who you are:)  A special peace & respect SHOUTOUT to the legendary DJ CARL ALLEN for the support you have given me to perform live on my favorite radio show since my youth. And last but not least, all the producers, djs, promoters and labels in this beautiful world we live in who have influenced me directly and indirectly be the person I am today.
